Default Opeth in Israel, November 10th 2009

It's like all my prayers of an Opeth show before their break had been heard!
Seeing Opeth for the second time, so awesome!

Any other Israeli fans here looking forward to the show?

Yeah man thanks!!!!! I'm ecstatic as hell. Last time I saw them I knew their material only partially and still enjoyed the shit out of the concert, so this time I think it's going to be a bit extra unique...

Logistical problems with the Israeli customs - they basically couldn't get their gear through in time for the show.

And yeah, I'm sure Mike and co. would put up a great show - though give me The Leper Affinity and I'm already all pleased and dandy!
I'm sure it's going to be a spectacular show, especially after having to cancel their last two dates here!

Orphaned Land should play with them. That would be sweet....even though I live on the other side of the world and won't be able to go

Well last time I saw Opeth they had no warmup and such was the case with Orphaned Land as well. I think neither really need any warmup, but yeah, seeing them both play the same night would be pretty fucking sweet.

Israel show setlist:

Heir Apparent
Ghost of Perdition
The Leper Affinity
White Cluster
April Ethereal
The Lotus Eater
Windowpane
Bleak (they only played half of it since it wasn't on the set and the audience was begging for it)
Harlequin Forest
Hex Omega
--
Deliverance

Was an amazing show, the guys totally compensated for bagging their last two shows here
